Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning and leading the execution of maintenance plans for equipment and facility maintenance requirements.  The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for leading facility operations to optimize facility and manufacturing systems maintenance at existing and new facilities. Changes implemented will follow the continuous improvement process.  Preventative maintenance must be developed to optimize manufacturing equipment availability. Projects may include facility and infrastructure planning, installation and validation including IQ, OQ and PQ Principal Duties:· Maintenance Planning:  Plan and lead day-to-day maintenance activities for equipment and facility related systems.· Maintenance:  Implements plans to maintain / improve facilities and manufacturing systems, emphasizing the support of a preventative maintenance program to optimize production costs and availability.·  Documentation:  Revise preventive maintenance procedures (as needed) by continuously analyzing equipment and facility issues and suggest corrective action to mitigate future issues. ·  Personnel Leadership:  Implement plans to identify current and needed skills in facilities group; provide positive and corrective feedback to team members; plan and schedule work to maximize utilization of maintenance workforce.·  Safety & Security:  Assist with safety and security related improvement activities of the organization. ·  Process Improvement:  Continuously improve the efficiency of facility operations by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, reducing waste and equipment downtime and making effective use of facilities and workforce.·  Operations Team Member:  Support Facilities Manager and peers by supporting a team environment, anticipating problems, providing input on solutions, reacting productively to change and handling other tasks as assigned. Qualifications / Skills: · High School diploma or GED required · Minimum of 10 years experience in Industrial or Facility Maintenance required, including clean room and utility operation · Thorough understanding of clean room requirements and manufacturing methods and equipment is required  · Familiarity with Six Sigma, LEAN manufacturing or TPM is desirable ·          Familiarity with applicable ISO standards and FDA experience is highly desirable ·          PC literacy in Microsoft office applications including Microsoft Project, Word, and EXCEL is required · Excellent problem solving and communication skills and ability to participate in team approach are essential.
